Scheduling An Appointment
Schedule a regular checkup, a Pre-Natal, or a Meet the Provider visit. Call us at, telephone 706-864-6700.
Appointment Required
All visits require an appointment except in the case of an emergency. Unfortunately, we are unable to see your child if you walk in without an appointment. We will ask you to return later in the day when the schedule allows.
Behavior Appointments
The providers at Dahlonega Pediatrics have many decades of experience between them evaluating and caring for children and teens with various behavior issues, including, ADD/ADHD, School Failure, Developmental Disabilities (eg: Autism) and more.
If you wish to have your child evaluated for one of these issues, please be aware that this will generally require a significantly longer appointment time and may require completing specific paperwork prior to your appointment.
Please call our front office staff for more details. Please note that you will need to make a Well Child Appointment prior to a "behavior" appointment if he is not up to date with these.
Sick Appointments
We make every effort to schedule appointments for ill children on the day that you call us. Please call our office ahead of time so that we can minimize the time that you will spend waiting.
If you have a medical emergency during office hours, we will do our best to see your child immediately or refer you to the appropriate facility.
Well Appointments
Did you know regular well child visits are one of the most important things you can do to keep your child healthy? Well child visits also provide you with the opportunity to discuss any questions or concerns you may have about your child’s health.
Your child should have a well child visit at the intervals listed below. We recommend that you call our office 3 months in advance to schedule an appointment with your child's primary care provider on the date that best fits your needs.
Non-Emergency Walk-Ins
The providers at Dahlonega Pediatrics try to stay on time as much as possible, barring unexpected illnesses or issues that take longer than expected. Therefore, we ask that you call us for appointments whenever possible. If you do walk in without an appointment, we will try to accommodate you as best as we can, but be aware that if your child’s illness allows, we may ask that you come back later in the day.
