Well Child Visits

Your providers and staff at Dahlonega Pediatrics are committed to preventive care for all ages and stages of your child’s life. and will discuss all aspects of your child's health at these visits, including (but not limited to):

  • Feeding and Nutrition
  • Growth and Development
  • Immunizations
  • Safety, including car seat safety, poison safety, child proofing, healthy activity safety, etc
  • Behavior
  • Teen issues

We encourage you to call four office for your child’s well check appointment at least 2 weeks ahead, or better yet, make her next appointment as you’re checking out from his current visit.  From birth to 30 months of age, we suggest your visits follow the recommended schedule below as closely as possible to the appropriate age.  Once your child reaches age 3, however, and certainly for your teenagers, you may want to schedule their well visits in the summertime, when our schedule frees up after the flu and sick season.  You may also request an appointment on our Patient Portal by clicking on this link and following the prompts.

If you have a significant medical or behavioral concern, please be aware that we may need to set up a separate visit to give your child or teen the time they deserve to thoroughly address their issue(s).
