Hospital Affilliations

If a member of your family requires hospitalization, we have privileges at:

    Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA)

    http://www.choa.org/scottishrite

    1001 Johnson Ferry Road NE
    Atlanta, GA 30342

    PH: 404-785-5252

Dr. Corn has Active Staff privileges and works with the Pediatric Hospitalist group called, SRPAC, pediatric doctors who specialize in hospital medicine, taking care of inpatient children and adolescents for local and regional pediatricians or family doctors who cannot make rounds on a daily basis in Atlanta.

As we strive for your child to receive the highest quality of pediatric care possible, if she needs to be admitted to a hospital, we will generally send you "down the road" to CHOA, where he'll be cared for by the excellent SRPAC team, with whom we are in frequent contact, including the day of discharge, ensuring complete continuity of care.  As we have access to the electronic medical record, we can also log on and see what's happening with your child's care at any time of the day or night.

    Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC)

    http://www.nghs.com/

    743 Spring Street
    Gainesville, GA 30501

    PH: 770-219-9000

If your child's illness is relatively minor, and you wish to have him admitted closer to home, we may request to admit her to the Longstreet Clinic Pediatric Hospital Service at NGMC, however our providers do not have admitting privileges there. If you deliver your baby at their excellent birthing center, she will be seen by one of their competent on-call Pediatricians.  Please call our office for a Well Baby appointment for 3-5 days after delivery.

    Chestatee Regional Hospital (CRH)

    http://www.sunlinkhealth.com/chestatee.html

    900 Circle 75 Pkwy
    Ste. 1120
    Atlanta, GA 30339

    PH: 770-933-7000

Dr. Corn has Courtesy Staff privileges but does not admit our patients here; we will, however, frequently send your child or teen there for routine procedures, X rays and blood work.

After the admission, please follow your insurance company requirements to reduce your risk of payment problems.
